Trevor Heaton, owner and manager of the anacapri on darby in Newcastle New South Wales has been operating successfully for over six years and takes pride in knowing his customers. He is passionate about his café and doesn’t make decisions lightly….especially concerning the food and beverages he serves his customers.

DEPENDABLE AND UNIQUE

 The Cool Headed Beer Dispenser leaves other restaurant dispensing beer systems in the dust. Thanks to Japanese technology tried and tested for over 40 years, the Cool Headed Beer Dispenser sits on a small bar footprint (W257mm x D315mm) and requires no keg cooling. Gone are the days of ice trays, keg coolers or refrigeration space for keeping kegs cold.

RELIABILITY AND EASE OF USE

The Cool Headed Beer Dispenser has been specially designed for café and restaurants with limited space and/or no desire to invest in expensive beer plumbing and cool rooms. “We installed the system in November” says Trevor. “We plugged it in, turned it on and attached a room temperature keg and away it went. It hasn’t faulted since we turned it on, we leave it running 24 hours a day and it just pours beer after beer perfectly. Even on New Years day when it was 45 degrees C it never missed a beat and the beer remained icy cold”
Trevor has also been impressed with how easy it is to change kegs. “It’s a breeze” enthused Trevor. “And cleaning the system is very, very easy”

WHAT ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS?

There is no doubt a fresh cold draught beer is a wonderful starter to any meal. Trevor is happy about the impact tap beer is having on his customers. “Everybody comments on how fresh and cool the beer tastes. It tastes exactly like it should”.

Trevor also attributes tap beer in helping raise the profile of the anacapri. A pleasant surprise has been the number of corporate accounts he has secured with the help of premium tap beer. “Serving a meal for a client in a private setting with draught beer is very appealing for my corporate customers” says Trevor. “It provides a nice private environment with the advantages of premium tap beer.”
